Mark Sfirri to Demonstrate at the November Meeting

Award winning and internationally acclaimed artist, educator, historian, and turner extraordinaire, Mark Sfirri, will be demonstrating at our November 17th general meeting at 7:30 at Bucks County Community College.  Please join us as Mark shows us how he creates one of his signature pieces and discusses his body of work. If you are interested furniture history you will be interested in Mark Sfirri's lecture titled "Wharton Esherick: The Reluctant Woodworker." It was presented at the Rago Arts Center on October 16th to a packed house. It includes lots of examples of Esherick's furniture and woodcuts, the politics of the time and the people that intersected his life.
