Joe Seltzer's Collection

The latest in a series of exhibits at the Upper Campus of Bucks County Community College in Perkaise are woodturnings from Joe Seltzer's collection. The unique feature of these 75 pieces is that they were all turned by current members of the Bucks Woodturners. Most of the pieces are small, under 7", but a few sculptural works are included as well. There are a number of turnings by Robert Rosand, mostly collected in the 1980's and by Linton Frank, collected in the 1990's. Probably the most spectacular pieces are the open segmented vessels by Bill Smith. In total, there are works by 24 different current members of the club, also including Jon Alley, Jill Biros, Tom Buchner, David Ellsworth, Tom Gall, Dave Hardy, Mike Kehs, Mark Krick, Ed Ryan, Rich Schaffling, Joe Seltzer, Mark Sfirri, Palmer Sharpless, Dave Souza, Bil Sticker, Don Thompson, Phil Wall, Ryta Weiner, Norris White, John Williams, Anthony Yakonick. The pictures are of the two cases and Joe holding a piece by Mark Sfirri and Michael Hosaluk.
